Traffic Day

More than 80% of all the vehicles are motorcycles in Cambodia. Most of the students have their own moto or are at least regularly driving but statistics say that less than 1/4 are wearing a helmet.
That this is a big issue here is beyond question. But what else has to be considered when having an accident or even causing one?

As this is a big topic here we did a Traffic Day with all the students to sensitize the students to traffic rules and the importance of wearing a helmet. The younger students made a poster that’s also referring to riding bicycles as this is the first step for them into the traffic.
The older ones watched a report about Cambodia and had to answer and discuss questions from a Quiz they got. In the end we found some tips to improve their current behaviour.
