Peter Downey started volunteering with SCAO in December 2012. Peter was a recent graduate from International Development BSc in University College Cork. He has previous experience working with NGOs in India and Cambodia. Peter has been the spearhead in implementing various projects in the areas that SCAO is operational in. His biggest project to date is the Water Filter Project, where over 800 water filters have been installed in rural homes, providing over 4,000 people with access to clean safe drinking water.
