This month at SCAO, our volunteer Lucy Butler from Ireland decided to start an Irish class, there are 12 students in this class. It takes place once a week, on Tuesday evenings. In this class the student will learn basic phrases, numbers, colours, months, and some more topics. Also in this class they will learn some Irish songs and dances. The aim of this class is to introduce students to a new culture and language. By August the students should be able to tell you a small bit about themselves and their families. So far the students have learnt how to say their names, ages and their favourite animals and colours.
