Hello everyone, I am Lotte from Germany and I am 19 years old. I’ve been at SCAO for more than two months now and I will stay for another month. I already feel sad about leaving because SCAO became a very special place to me and the people kind of a family, both volunteers and students. Being a teacher for the kids here is a great experience, because they are eager to learn and always friendly. Just arriving at the school and being greeted by a happy “hello teacher” or a funny kind of high-five makes me feel good. Furthermore, you can learn a lot about the culture and the life here from your students. And living, cooking and talking together with the other volunteers is also a lot of fun.
So I can only recommend coming to SCAO!
